To inaugurate our travel diary, we take you on a discovery of Piedmont, the region of Northern Italy, where we spent a weekend a few weeks ago between two supplier meetings.
Slow food and relaxation.
With the city of Turin only an hour and a half flight from Paris, Piedmont is a perfect destination for a weekend. Renowned for its exceptional gastronomy and precursor of the "slow food" trend, Piedmont has a lot of culinary specialties such as hazelnuts, wine and truffles. We also advise you to discover the region during the International Alba White Truffle Fair, a must for fans! And between each village, the vineyards offer magnificent landscapes full of serenity ...
And what better way to enjoy a weekend in Italy than in a hotel with a spa? We found the rare pearl with the Hotel Réva and its spa overlooking the vineyards.
And what about swim shorts?
Of course, we took the opportunity to test the latest samples of our swimwear. And we are delighted with our new material! Really comfortable in and out of the water. And above all it dries quickly! This is especially important in swimming pools or spas where the sun does not penetrate. And as expected, our embroideries are very resistant to swimming pool water thanks to our specially treated threads that are chlorine resistant, so they don't lose their colour.
Here are our favourite addresses to enjoy a nice moment in Piedmont:
- An unpretentious trattoria to discover the homemade Piedmontese gastronomy: Trattoria Nelle Vigne
- A very welcoming wine cellar: Borgogno Serio Battista
- A spa hotel in the middle of the vineyards: Reva Monforte
- And the international truffle exhibition, traditionally held between October and November: the White Truffle Fair of Alba
See you soon for new discoveries!
